This short Kaziranga trip is ideal for a weekend getaway and a quick wildlife break. Across three days and three jeep safaris, visitors get a good chance to see the famous Indian rhinoceros, elephants, wild buffalo, hog deer, and many birds.

The mornings in Kaziranga are fresh with light fog over the grasslands. The evenings are peaceful with sounds of birds settling in. Between safaris, you relax at a comfortable lodge close to the forest.

Daywise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Guwahati and Drive to Kaziranga

Our driver will meet you at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station in the morning. The drive to Kaziranga takes about five hours with a halt for breakfast or lunch. On arrival, check in to your lodge and relax. Evening at leisure followed by dinner and overnight stay.



Day 2

Morning and Evening Safari

Wake up early and head for your morning jeep safari. This is the best time to see rhinoceros in open grasslands along with elephants and deer herds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and some relaxed time. After lunch, head again for an evening safari in a different zone. Chances of spotting elephants and birdlife remain good during this time. Dinner and overnight stay.



Day 3

Morning Safari and Checkout

Today you enjoy your last safari of the trip. Morning drives often bring clear sightings of rhinoceros and many birds sitting on tall grass. After breakfast, return to the lodge, pack up, and check out. Drive back to Guwahati. We will drop you at the airport or railway station by afternoon or early evening. Carry back good wildlife memories and photographs.



Booking Procedure

To confirm your seat, a 50% advance amount along with a recognized Government Identity card (Aadhar, Pan Card, Driver’s License, OCI, Passport, Voter’s ID, school/College ID) is to be sent to us. For non Indian nationals, only Passport is allowed. Id’s should be scanned and emailed at safari@kazirangarhinosafari.com
