How to Reach Kaziranga National Park from Mumbai
By Air
The fastest way to reach Kaziranga is by flying from Mumbai to either Guwahati or Jorhat. A direct flight to Guwahati takes about three hours, and from there the road drive to Kaziranga takes around five to six hours. If you choose Jorhat, flight timings usually include one stop but road travel reduces to about two hours.
By Train
Trains from Mumbai to Guwahati take close to 40 hours. After reaching Guwahati railway station, taxis and private vehicles are available for the onward five hour drive toward Kaziranga.
By Road
The road journey from Mumbai crosses Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and then Assam. This needs multiple overnight halts, making it a long travel route that only long trip planners choose.
