How to Reach Kaziranga National Park from Delhi
By Air
The fastest way to reach Kaziranga is by flying from Delhi to Guwahati. From Guwahati, you can continue the journey by road. The drive takes about five to six hours and passes tea estates and small markets on the way. Taxis and private vehicles are available outside the airport.
By Train
You can travel by train from Delhi to Guwahati or Jorhat. Both stations have road access to Kaziranga. After reaching the station, take a taxi to your lodge. Travel time from Guwahati station is around five hours, while from Jorhat it usually takes about two hours.
By Road
Kaziranga is roughly 1900 to 1950 kilometres from Delhi, so road travel is long. Travellers who enjoy long drives usually stop along the way and complete the route in two sections. The road route enters Assam through West Bengal and continues toward Kaziranga via Guwahati or Nagaon.
