Kaziranga and Manas Safari Tour

Overview

This itinerary connects two of Assam’s important wildlife reserves. Kaziranga offers open grassland views and predictable rhino sightings, while Manas provides a more forest rich experience with bird movement, elephants, and river belts. Both parks give different terrain which keeps sightings interesting and varied.

The plan includes multiple safaris and one elephant ride inside Manas, giving close encounters on open ground. Lodges remain close to entry gates, ensuring easy access during early morning starts.

Daywise Itinerary

Day 1

Guwahati to Kaziranga

Arrive at Guwahati and begin the drive toward Kaziranga. Reach your lodge, check in, and spend the evening relaxing. Overnight stay.

Day 2

Safari Day in Kaziranga

Start early for your morning safari. You may see rhinos feeding along shallow pools, elephants in small groups, and deer herds. Return for breakfast and rest. After lunch, head again for your evening safari covering a different track. Dinner and stay at lodge.

Day 3

More Wildlife Time in Kaziranga

Another day inside Kaziranga improves sightings. Early morning light gives good clarity for photography. After rest and lunch, enjoy your evening safari. Chances of bird sightings stay high during fading light. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Travel to Manas and Evening Birding

After breakfast, check out and begin the drive to Manas. Reach by evening and check in. Take a slow walk near lodge surroundings or local birding trails. Many small forest birds settle before sunset. Dinner and night stay.

Day 5

Elephant Safari and Jeep Safari

Start the morning with elephant safari inside Manas. You get closer visibility of grassland sections and possible elephant movement. Return for breakfast. After lunch, head for evening jeep safari. Chances of spotting deer, wild buffalo, and birdlife stay strong. Overnight stay.

Day 6

Final Safari and Departure

Enjoy your final morning safari. Track movement near river edges or meadow lines. Return for breakfast, check out, and drive back to Guwahati or Jorhat for departure.

Carry back sightings of rhinos from Kaziranga and elephant experiences from Manas.

To confirm your seat, a 50% advance amount along with a recognized Government Identity card (Aadhar, Pan Card, Driver’s License, OCI, Passport, Voter’s ID, school/College ID) is to be sent to us.
